  • @raylyd only crt and plasma caused burn in image because phosphor is in it .a lcd has liquid crystal pixels and dont light up . lcd need a fluorescence tube to light up the pixel .

  • CRT's have much more acurate colors and black levels than any LCD tv, anywhere. Only the best of the best of LED or Plasma Tv's can compete with CRT's in that respect (although, not very many crt's were above 1080i)

  • All this work and now its just land fill...

  • @Topachula actualy they still do, only DSO's or digital storig oscillascops use LCD's, but the resalution on the LCD's isnt as good as on the CTS's. at least thats what i have seen on my scopes.
