I just noticed that I put Selena as the title of this chapter, and a Nick Jonas song. Ok..sorry..Nelena fan girl moment. xP
In story related news, I just wrote this literally a minute ago and I didn't revise it because I wanted to upload it for you guys. So I'm sorry if there are grammar errors.
[Selena]
Demi's POV
"So I'm guessing we'll be seeing a lot of you?" Kevin piped up after a couple of moments of awkward silence.
"I don't know," I frowned slightly then looked up at Joe, "Will they be seeing a lot of me?"
He smiled, knowing what I was getting at.
"I hope so."
I turned back to Kevin and Nick, "You'll definatly be seeing a lot of me."
Joe's hand gripped mine a little tighter as he excused us from his entertaining brothers and walked a little ways away from them.
"Was that a yes?" He asked me.
"To being your girlfriend or to inviting me for tacos?"
He looked confused.
"I never invited you for tacos...?"
"Then it's the girlfriend question." I nodded, "It's a yes."
He seemed to sigh, I don't know why. My thoughts had scattered once his lips had lightly pressed onto mine.
"Aren't you going to introduce me, Joe?" A taunting voice said from beside us. I pulled away rather quickly and turned to see the poorly dressed sister standing in front of us. What was her name again? Oh yeah. Selena.
...Alright, so maybe I hadn't forgotten her name.
I opened my mouth with every intention to at least try to be polite to her, but the look she was giving me was enough to set me off edge and make me forget every "nice" thing I was about to say. Instead, I looked over her outfit. Like I would have done to any poor wannabe. She was wearing a highwaisted pale green and pink skirt with a silky fabric tight teal vest over it and a white-shirt underneath the vest. You could see the words "Power Rangers" that was printed on the t-shirt peeking out from under the vest. It was all different and horrible, except for the same knee high laced military type boots that she always wore...but this time they were dark blue.
"Power Rangers?" You could hear the disgust in my voice, which was exactly what I was trying to get out.
"I've always wanted to be the red one." She mocked. I raised an eyebrow.
"The red one's a man..." I smirked, "Suits you."
Her glare intensified but otherwise her facial expression didn't change as I smiled triumphantly.
"Selena," Joe sighed, "Why don't you go hang out with your friends or something?"
"If she has any..." I mumbled under my breath, not expecting her to hear me over the loud music.
"What is your problem?!" She suddenly snapped. I looked up from examining my nails and pulled my hand out of Joe's grasp, which was tight. He was probably trying to hold me back from strangling his sister.
"Isn't it obvious?"
"No, please, delight me in telling me why you're such a bitch." She lifted her hand up almost as if to slap me herself, but quickly put it back down.
I was about to reply when I felt a hand tug on my shoulder and pull me back.
"Can you leave her alone?" Joe spoke with his voice low, but it was hard and angry. A part that I hadn't really seen of him.
She scoffed, "So you're picking that..." she struggled to find a name to call me and I rolled my eyes,"..that slut over me?"
He sighed.
"Don't do this," Almost pleading, "Not now. Not on Chelsea's birthday."
After a couple of seconds of them staring each other down, him with soft eyes her with hard ones, she sighed.
"Fine."
And with a swift movement of her horrible skirt, she was gone, disappearing into the now crowded backyard.
"And you," Joe whirled around to face me, standing so close to me, his body slightly pressed against mine, "Don't talk to my sister that way." His face was hard, and he was serious.
It was a command.
I stood there, gaping up at him. Nobody had EVER talked to me that way.
I didn't know what to say, so I said the first thing a rich spoiled brat like me would say.
"You can't tell me what to do."
Joe smiled, "But I just did." And with that he leaned down, pecking me softly on the lips.

woo, impresive :) i think Joe is helping Demi to became someone better although no with Selena, but i bet that in the end they are going to end up being good friends or something :)
