@japanfan4evr Believe me, "popular" music is not popular because "people like it" Most of the time, it's because it is the main thing put in front of people who can't think for themselves. Some may not even like the music they listen to, they just hear it because they want to fit in.Examples are hip hop and pop.

Just wait until you see these guys live. I have twice. My band was suppose to play with them before, but a snow storm caused them to have to cancel. These guys are probably my favorite band.

@Plus44OneEighty2 Because only the worst music becomes popular. When shit actually has quality it stays underground! These guys don't even bother with major labels. They chose to go with "Paper + Plastick", which is Vinnie Fiorello's label (drummer/songwriter of Less Than Jake). A label that mainly only releases their music on iTunes or Vinyl, instead of CD. How cool is that? haha
