Large Carp caught in Lady Bird Lake

I caught this man reeling in a large carp out of Lady Bird Lake (Town Lake) in Austin TX. It was entertaining to watch and before he could even get it out of the net - another rod went off with another big fish caught.

@bakeee This carp was caught right next to the pond that is under the 1st Street bridge. I was standing on top of the bridge.

Hey 1059lisa, stop being a butt. Fyi Lady bird lake is one of the best carp fishing lakes in america. The local news even played on tat by making an april fools story on a non-existant giant carp that tried to push over kayaks and ate squirrels. the average size there is probably bigger than you'll ever catch. every time I fish there i see 20+ lb carp. chew on that h8ter.

@1509lisa dont care what waters u fish thats no minnow 25-30 lbs no minnow also if u knew this lake is known for anglers catching 1-30 fish that size a day no entrance fee at the heart of the city 1-30 min drive for anyone in austin that was one of the much smaller ones
