I remember exactly where I was when this happend...man..CU had some fuckin great teams....this is my fav moment...other than the clipping call on Notre Dame that enabled us to win the national championship in 1990...good times.

Ty Wheatley should've gone pro after his junior season. He was a bona fide overall Top 10 draft pick according to Mel Kiper, Jr. Instead he stayed in Ann Arbor because he wanted to win the Heisman and maybe even a NC title - FAIL!! And he didn't even come close to getting it. He finished a distant 8th in the Heisman running. Wheatley's the real reason why TTUN stunk that year. His draft stock went way down when he made his decision to stay at UM for his senior year. He laid an egg in the NFL.
