I had to stay behind my camera to keep from being blinded by the sun. So I had the bright idea of getting a shot of me reflected in my sunglasses. I'm glad it worked. And Catawampus were one of the best Lexington bands ever.

why the zooming in and out? I didn't really get any intended effect.

would you believe that this is what morning looks like after three double-shot expressos? anyhow, it's all in the eye of the beholder. in real time, the zooms were originally a hell of a lot slower and barely noticeable. 20 minutes of footage has been speeded up to less than 3. Thus the traffic whizzes by. Personally I prefer the real time version, but it has the unintended effect of putting most people to sleep.
