The hippies' song "Aquarius" came out in 1969, Apollo 11's year. In the course of Apollo 12 Hoagland remembers sharing a deep, "Druid"-type meeting, with Walter Cronkite and Wally Schirra. Cronkite, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Glenn Seaborg, the discoverer of plutonium, attended the Bohemian Grove. In the cremation of the care ceremony, with Cronkite's recorded voice sounding from the owl, a child is sacrificed unto Moloch (Saturn). In the novel "2001", Dave Bowman must travel through the fires of a red giant, unharmed due to his being shielded, in order to be reborn as the STAR CHILD. Cosmonaut Alexei Leonov's book has his painting "Near the Moon" on page 32, with a Moon-Earth-Sun alignment like the opening of "2001". Arthur Clarke met Leonov in Vienna. Apollo 13's Command module was named Odyssey. Liftoff was on April 11, 1970 at 13:13 Houston military time. Two of Orion's belt stars were at 32-33º above horizon over Houston at launch. Apollo 13 mission was clearly scripted. HAL interrupted the crew in "2001" with the line "we have a problem"; when oxygen tank "blew up", Apollo 13 astronauts reported to Houston with the words "we've had a problem", and this was just after their having listened to "2001"'s soundtrack! Apollo 13's Lunar Module had the name AQUARIUS.
I just read about this somewhere else. And then I come on Youtube and I find this video. Great video, thank you. Walter Conkrite....such a shame...
