  • what part of the US are you in?

  • @StrikeBrief

nah ive never cared for labs... they are too big and drool too much.

ill just stick with my Athena (a basenji) she can be sweet when she wants to be! like when she lays on the couch with me! and sun baths! thats why shes my little little sugar booger! :D

  • Brat is the PERFECT word to describe a basenji. (Probably why the Basenji Rescue group is called B.R.A.T.) I called my Java a snot sometimes too, lol. But all with love, of course. Just look at those FACES!! :3

BUT! If you want a dog that's perfectly obedient with no attitude or sass, I suggest a lab or retriever. Basenji is not for you. lol

  • lol you dont want a basenji... they are too much work... my Athena is an oober brat. doesnt want to learn tricks and would rather learn how to open things to make a mess. took her a few days to learn how to open(by pulling down and pushing) the gate at our new house. she is a turd! but if this lady wants to train mine! that would be great! she used to know sit stay lay down roll over. but refuses to do them. :(

  • Wow. those are good dogs. I would love to have a basenji
