Original mono mix.
Two record label versions are presented.
Both are originals.
The first version I show is a first pressing.

  • @wtbsfan Mono just has that sound that stereo cant reproduce

  • @wmbrown6 Thanks, W.B.! I've learned a lot from you.

  • This was the theme for The Drew Carey Show for a while

  • I found this on their greatest hits album a few years back. The album looks and plays like brand new !! thanks for posting one of my all time favs.! Glad you are back on Y.T. !!

  • this was on the chum chart in toronto. canada. it reached as high as number 13. stayed on the chart for 11 weeks. jan.of 1966. thank you . a great song ''''

  • @gjamieson78 - The second was indeed a Midwest Record Pressings-made copy. The Ludlow fonts tell the tale. And the matrix number indicates a mastering by one of the arms of Chess Records. (They also had Ter-Mar studios which bore a "TM" prefix on matrix numbers.)

  • This song has one of the best intros to draw you in.

  • The Mono Version Is The Best I Don't Like The Stereo Version

  • I have the wide-separation true stereo version of this song, but all I've ever heard on the radio is the fake echoey "simulated stereo" version!

  • Great song.
