Nancy, everyone here is eligible for healthcare already, even illegal immigrants cannot be turned away from the ER.

Many people give false names and no ID in emergency room visits and must be seen and treated for serious illnesses or injuries.

This is a huge topic and this format cannot do justice to a proper discussion of it. However I will say that biblically speaking, it is supposed to be the church's job and not the government's to feed and care for people. :)

I only wish that the UK had as much sense as Canada. Our welfare system and healthcare system here is a free for all. The people who need it most, are the ones who are suffering.
