Welcome to M.R.E. Tutorials, the show that shows you how to make epic movie props. This very first episode is for all doctor who fans who want to make a Sonic Screwdriver Prop that lights up!
@L99thebeaver LOL he is just helping fans like me who cant get these at stores because the assholes are "stuck in a time rift" while getting the screwdriver.
Nice job, kid. I've been thinking of making my own but have it authentic looking so I'll try and look for those metal parts but I have a question. If I decide to make one, I want it to actually make the sounds. How do I go about doing that or can you make a video on how to incorporate the screwdriver sound effects?
@bbookwalter -- The wiring is already very simple. The LED only has two wires. Red for pos and black for neg. The pos (red) wire connects to the pos end of the batteries. He uses magnets to hold it in place but you could use something else. The neg (black) wire connects to the neg end of the battery but with the switch in the middle.
YOU ARE MATT?!?!

@bbookwalter I'm planning on doing the same thing for a friend of mine, though I didn't catch all the names of the parts.

You are smart enough to do it if you try.
