Maggie was great in both 'Secretary' and 'Sherry Baby' ... I have not seen her other work.

Your observations and review are also excellently stated ... 'a cold does of reality' indeed.

And ... 'It makes one wonder what studio houncho's need to recognize a bright light in their presence' ... yup it does make one wond how such a talent might be overlooked for others of lessor range.

Good review and btw I sort of liked the tone of that mike, I didn't hear a pop.

good job. pretty good research, and i love maggie too. Oscar? i think she will, but not just this one...not just yet, there will come a great edgy modern character, as what i think would move Maggie up further as she already is an edgy smart actress!
