Glock 17/19/23 Detail Strip

The detail strip is a complete disassembly of the Glock pistol. *This* detail strip begins with a routine field strip -- the maximum disassembly suggested by Glock -- and does not include the disassembly of the trigger assembly or firing pin assembly.

You will need additional resources to know things like which direction to face the take-down lever upon reassembly, etc.

how often do you do a full strip and cleaning?

If you're careful, there's no downside to doing a detail-strip and clean anytime you feel the urge, need, or sneaking suspicion there's a micron of gunk inching into a bad juju area.

Why didn't you take out the extractor it the firing pin or the bearing or the firing pin safety or any of the pieces on the back of the slide

thanks, i always clean my 26 after every time i shoot, but i've always wondered if i'm getting it totally clean, now that i see the proper way to break it down, im gonna do the full strip occasionally to make sure my weapon stays clean n works properly, thanks again
