MIT is arguably the most secretive institution of higher learning and Chomsky got his start there working on classified machine translation technology, the precursor to echelon. Would def. contractors really give a dissenter that kind of clearance.

You quote Chomsky out of context. He is saying who cares about a present event causing the death of 3k people, when the same government has caused the death of hundreds of thousands in illegal wars/occupations. Its like accusing a clearly guilty bank robber of shoplifting in the past.

The conspiracy theory Chomsky refers to is that the conspiracy was amongst the president and the US government. He refutes that conspiracy. Are you arguing that indeed George Bush did conspire to to bomb the world trade center?

For the professor to throw around the term "conspiracy theory" so quickly, should make any intelligent person wonder about his motives.

Noam was a motivator in my world view and to hear him speak of the actual conspiracy that took place that day, with such a flippant attitude, makes me cringe.

he says who cares because really what difference does it make who killed the people, the fact remains those people are dead. to someone like noam 3,000 dead as a result of 911 is the same as 3,000 iraqis dying as a result of cluster bombings. if you believe it was an inside job okay that's great but it's not like the people who died were the last or only who perished during Bush's reign as president. pay attention to what's happening now and stop atrocities before they happen
