@Louistools sorry to reply over a year after, but I had the same question, what are these for. Found out that they are motors replaceable carbon brushes.

lol mines fucked anyway xD i think someone was trying to lock it in place whilst its spinning, i looked inside it and the little pin thing that holds it down when you press the locking button is worn down to nothing, so now i cant change wich attachment im using, even clamping it up and trying to putt it out with mole grips didnt budge it xD
