If it's any thing that this place(not the explosion) is an Easter egg in fallout new Vegas or more of a location

@krashly71 He wasn't the owner and he was disabled with polio. Someone should have carried him off.
-
An old guy, the owner, stayed to be sure his people got out. He died. The first explosion likely got him, the second for sure. He died bravely, quickly, and if you gotta go, spectacularly.

godamn its like a small nuke

I clicked on the Pause at 0:47... there's no "flying thing." Most likely a lens flare or video rec error.
Oh and that explosion was epic. Good thing it was out in the desert or a lot more ppl would've been hurt!
-
no its not a tourist attraction. its a real explosion. one person actually died in this explosion.
-

On May 4, 1988, Pacific Engineering and Production Company (PEPCOM), 8 miles southwest of Henderson, NV, registered a 3.5 on the Richter scale when 9 million pounds explodes and damages 7,000+ home, some more than 2 miles away. Unbelievably, of all the employees madly fleeing from PEPCOM through the desert, only 2 people are unable to escape death; 1 man who stayed to hit the evacuation siren and called 9-1-1 thereby saving hundreds of lives.
