  • we use something called Transmission Assembly Goo. Not sure who makes it but I'm sure you can get something similar from a trans parts supplier or the internet. Unlike most greases, it melts at really low temps and disolves with the trans fluid. Vasaline behaves in a similar fashion.

  • Isn't there a possibility of that grease, or Vasoline -- whatever you use -- getting clogged in the valve body channels and creating a flow problem?
