Never happen here, dispatch would probably tell the caller that the law says you can carry if it were the case here and that would be the end of it.

So open carry is legal in your state? I ask this because I am in MA and only police officers can open carry Conceled is fine (with proper license) I think open carry is a better idea. Yes, it is legal, and guaranteed by the constitution. The AG a few years back even stated: "Another person's annoyance or alarm (at the site of a gun) does not override a persons Right to carry/posses a gun."

I dont have this problem when I open carry in michigan. Try contacting police cheifs, sherriffs, and legislatures with the pertinent information related to open carry.

Probably one call... and again yes, they should say "open carry is legal....is the person threatening anyone or handling the firearm in public? No. Okay, we'll drive by and take a look but we can't do anything."
