This is my 8th incident, and 6th public meeting/detention with an town agent. (I'll post the rest later, but this was the the more important one). The two for one was because I had been detained for a public meeting in Manchester, NH earlier in the day.

I was walking in Hooksett, NH on June 4th around 7pm. The responding officer was belligerent and enjoyed using profanity.

(sorry it's 1:30am I have typos in the video text messages.... if you read it a time or two it should make sense)

  • Another friggin' activist type. He misses the opportunity to educate those who enforce the law. He starts out by failing to carry his ID so he is already suspect. He refuses to give his name and the SCotUS has already affirmed that a person must identify themselves when asked. He was in violation of that if not for the open carry.

Jerks like this give all of us a bad smell and the cops will lump us all into the same mold. He does all of us a disservice and empowers the anti-firearms activists.

  • @jimpeel His chief didn't agree when he saw the video and the officer received a reprimand. Of course he wanted a formal complaint so the reprimand would have more "force" but he never received the copy as well as two lawyers wanted to take the town/officer to court for this incident and were both going to do it pro-bono.

  • The cop responded to the complaint, chewed you out for not carrying your I.D. then let you go... Im still struggling with what was "wrong" with this officers actions...

  • @MegaDuke1 So if I call the police because I don't like the color of their clothes or think it clashes the police should investigate? There is nothing unlawful carrying a firearm and the attorney general in my state has stated that a persons annoyance/alarm at the sight of a firearm doesn't override my Right to carry a firearm. Therefor I was stopped for the equivalent of wearing what I wanted or expressing my freedom speech or religion.

  • @MegaDuke1 I (and any non-felon, etc in New Hampshire) have a right to carry a firearm, openly or concealed (if so licensed). Another person has a right to be scared at that. HOWEVER their right to be scared does NOT override my right to carry a firearm. As the officer had no cause to believe I was committed a crime the officer was the one in the wrong, not me. Nothing in the above; not in New Hampshire "law" require to me carry an ID nor identify myself.

  • The police have the right to make sure your gun is legal. You can't just walk around with a gun visible and not even a drivers licence on you, you moron. You're doing nothing to protect yours or anyone elses rights. You're just starting crap with police and posting it on youtube so you can say "look how persecuted I am, poor me". You're not being persecuted. The cops are just doing their jobs. Would you rather they didn't respond at all to people walking around with guns?? You're retarded.

  • @Mattm1986 Walking around and carrying a gun is a RIGHT. Even the attorney general in New Hampshire has stated: "another persons annoyance or alarm at the sight of a gun does not override a persons right to carry a gun."

  • @dkfa And you're a fucking douche bag. I know my rights much better than the average citizen. And I exercise them regularly.

  • @Mattm1986 You're retarded. Know your rights. This officer certainly know his rights and the law. Even if the cop is doing his job, he doesn't need to be like this.

  • @jimpeel Would you cite teh SCotUS ruling on that? Because I'm sure you're wrong. Now, if you live in a State that has a "Stop and ID" law, that is true. However, most don't. My State does not, and I do NOT have to present my ID to a LEO unless he can tell me what crime he can "Reasonably Articulate" that I am commissioning or am about to commission. Even then I only have to give my name and information, I'm not required to show any ID.

  • @jimpeel I have to say I think your view of this is a little warped, why should someone have to show ID randomly whenever a cop wants it? You realize upon seeing your ID they know they have jurisdiction over you. Those activist types are the only reason the rest of the world doesn't think america is completely friggin retarted. The activists are the only people left in america with a brain.

  • @jimpeel He's is fully in the right to do wut he is doing, dipshit.... we need to show police they cant just push us around & that we DO in fact have rights!!!! Do EXACTLY as he did in the same situation!

  • @thegrunt69 Why would you need to detain someone who is not breaking a single damn rule? The fact here is half of you cops don't know the rules and then try and pull something out of your ass like this "72 hour rule". You can use that rule when you have caught someone breaking the law.

  • @Mattm1986 .. you said,"I know its a right. But you look like an asshole when you go around intentionally trying to get stopped."

Umm .. if its a right then why is he being stopped? Probably because the asshole doesn't know or care what his Rights Are, or what the law says,.. he just wants to punish someone for doing something only an asshole would think is bad based on his opininon, being an asshole, & an uneducated asshole @ that, seeing as his JOB is to uphold a citizens rights... Asshole..

  • @victimofgovernment What ever happed to the 72 hour hold to make sure of Identity.??

I have used that before when people left there ID at home, take them in , fingerprint them and wait for it to come back telling you who they are.
