@benbie "A meme acts as a unit for carrying cultural ideas, symbols or practices, which can be transmitted from one mind to another through writing, speech, gestures, rituals or other imitable phenomena" - Wikipedia ... so the 'memehive' can be thought as the summation of all current memes in their state of perpetual evolution with each meme coalescing into the whole collective, hence the 'hive' analogy.
