Ulaunchelf is a tool that allows you to access your USB thumb drives, internal hard drive on the fat ps2, or even your memory card. To use the CD or DVD version, your modchip or swap magic (or other tool) must be able to boot the disc.

It is also what I call the "gateway drug" to allow you to install FMCB. Please go to channel gamedexterity, and click on the Console modding playlist to see more PS2 tutorials that I have done.

So i burn the ulaunchelf to a cd, then i find an elf game download it put it on a usb drive and i can play it?

about the files you have on your disc after you burned you said that you should have a boot.elf i have the other too files you showed but i dont have a boot.elf did you rename it or something cause mine is named ULE_4_37.ELF

@bigearnhardt I think I did. If you burn the .ISO from sksapps, that will take care of you and no worries.
