ESC 1986: Iceland - Bank of Fun

Iceland's first ever entry for Eurovision Song Contest: "Gledibankinn / Gleðibankinn" performed by Icy in Grieghallen, Bergen, Norway 1986. The group Icy consisted of Palmi Gunnarsson, Eirikur Hauksson and Helga Möller. Introduced by Åse Kleveland.

The english version of the song is called "Bank of Fun" and goes like this:

The song is good. The girl has the best style, besides she´s the most self-confident on the stage. The two men dance in rather a clumsy way. Are these people still popular in Iceland??

That's true srytko :) Eirikur was with the group Just 4 Fun and they song Mrs. Thompson in 1991 :) But before that he was singing with the group Icy :) I'm Norwegian too hehe :) This year Norway and Alexander Rybak will take the whole cake on ESC 2009 in Moscow :)
