Luke's Radiant Howl sounds so much cooler in Japanese than in English!

Let it it be known that Sync pwns everyone! Plus he's the strongest of the god generals in my eyes considering the fact that he died last. You can't count Dist. He's a cockroach and we all know it's near impossible to kill them

@Jeffrey6978 Most of my Tales Of games tend to get imported at some point. (Currently Symphonia for PS2 and Radiant Mythology 1 and 2) So I'm used to having O as the confirm and X as cancel (Oh god do NOT play english Tales Of and japanese Tales Of simultaneously .. it's frustrating ..) I heard ToD is good and the images got really flashy, but I know most of the story (as I did with Abyss .. XD) and I translated the manga so there isn't anything to surprise me with.
Thx I'll import Abyss!

@talesfan137 Here's an interesting fact: He is voiced by the exact same person who voices Pikachu from Pokemon.
I recall watching this video 4 years ago, being '' Omg, I can't wait to buy this gaaaaaaame! '' and here I am, with this game in hand and still looking this battle because his japanese voice is so adorable!

@AbsoluteAnise Yeah, his voice is awesome, I've always liked it, and I still get a kick out of the fact that the person who voiced him also did Pikachu. XD
But yeah, this video will be 5 years old on October 9th, man time sure flies by, it doesn't seem that long ago when I was recording these videos, I remember staying up for two days to finish the game, good times. :D
Thanks for watching!

Okay .. just asking: I understand japanese well enough to get around, but I don't know all the kanji. So I wouldn't know what I get from the Search Points, making Din's Shop hard to use .. but otherwise, it'd be just fine for me to play the japanese version, yes?

@CatMuto Trust me, I don't know all the kanji either. :P
This was my first imported game, at the time it was still Japan only, I struggled with it at first, but as I played it more it got much easier, and I did just fine getting through the game.
I knew enough spoken Japanese to understand a good portion of what was being said, and I was using a story guide for the rest.
You shouldn't have any problems getting around in the game, especially if you played the English version already.

@CatMuto Part 2 of my comment:
Most of the items you'll be using alot of are in katakana, so it's real easy to figure out what they are.
I believe they all have pictures too.
One thing you'll notice about the Japanese version, is that it has quite a few less Mystic Artes that the English version.
These MAs were added by the localizing staff, and were not in the original game, although a few of them were planned to be, but there was a deadline and they were cut.

@CatMuto Part 3 of my comment:
Sorry YouTube made me cut my comment into pieces. :P
If you are planning on importing JP tales of games, I would highly recommend that you pick up Tales of Destiny Director's Cut, it's very fun, and has in my opinion the best battle system, you won't regret getting it. ^_^
