People were completely ignorant of Jamahariya (also known as Direct Democracy) governing system before NATO's war of aggression. Now the news is spreading and we are starting to see people actual demand the system being implemented in their own nation.
Here are some benefits which the Jamahariya governing system brought to Libya:

--All newlyweds received $60,000 dinar (U.S.$50,000) by the government to buy their first home.

Before Jamahariya Government literacy rate was 25%. During Jamahariya it rose to 83%.
--Anyone wanting to become a farmer would receive free house, land, equipment, seeds and livestock.
--Anyone unable to find suitable education or healthcare in Libya, was financed by the government to go abroad. In addition to the medical and educational costs the government gave them a $2,300 (US) monthly allowance for accommodation and car.
Women were allowed to have male relative or friend to accompany them, cost free.
--The government subsidized 50 percent of the price of a new car.
--The cost of gas was $0.14 (US) per liter.
--Libya had no external debt. Now its $150 billion reserves are frozen globally.
--Anyone unable to get employment after graduation the state would pay the average salary of the profession until she/he found related employment.
--A portion of every oil sale was credited directly to the bank accounts of all Libyan citizens.
--A mother received $5,000 (US) for each child at birth.
--40 loaves of bread cost 0.15 (US). --Full one quarter of the population gained a university degree under Jamahariya.
--The lasting legacy of Jamahariya Government is the Great Man-Made River. Jamahariya-Central Bank used $33 billion, without interest rates and without borrowing a single penny from the international banks, to build the Great Man-Made River with three parallel pipelines running oil, gas and water supplying 70% of the people (4.5 of its 6 million) with clean drinking and irrigation water. This provided adequate crops for the people and was a competitive exporter of vegetables with ISRAEL and Egypt. Since 1990 UNESCO has contributed to the training of hydrologic engineers and technicians for supervising and maintaining this huge river. On July 22 2011 NATO hit the Libyan water supply pipeline called the Great-man made-River. It will take months to repair. The next day they hit the pipeline factory producing pipes to repair it.

Yes, two flags: Qatar`s flag and rebel`s one are next to each other and well seen at the back of a car. And it looks like it was in summer at the time of Jamahiria and Qatar had no write to enter the sovereign State Libya.
