About ACTA
1. It allows the Government to seize any computer or iPod without a warrant.

2. They can shut down ANY website without a warrant, Reason, Etc.

3. They can now BAN us from the INTERNET. Yup, It's true, They add you to a list and no ISP is legally allowed to give you internet.

4. Cracking down on P2P is in effect. Fuck the lounge crackdown, Your ISP MUST report any P2P Activity and you will be fined + Sued. This is not a "Maybe" this is a yes. The government plans to spend Billions a year on just persecuting people who torrent. If your ISP doesn't report you, Then they are fined. So we all know what they're going to do.

5. Basically, This bill allows the Governments of Australia, Canada, Europe, New Zealand and The United States Of America to do whatever the fuck they want on the internet. This literally requires 0 public disclosure, Basically if they don't like the site it gets shutdown with full Government force.

So what exactly are the price tags for violating the P2P rules and etc? No is exactly sure but, Let's just say you will be fined for EVERY song, movie , etc. A 12 year old girl was recently in court for downloading 1 song.

Oh and get this, When you go to a airport, Border or any kind of travel place, guess what happens? The officers can choose to randomly search your iPod or computer. If they find any pirated movies, music, etc. You are going to jail.

If your too lazy to read the above: THEY WILL FUCK US UP THE ASS. NO MORE WARRANTS REQUIRED! THEY CAN SEARCH OUR COMPUTERS OR OTHER DEVICES AS THEY WISH. ANYTHING PIRATED THEY FIND = YOU IN JAIL + BANNED FROM THE INTERNET.

So...The choice is yours HF, Will we become censored worse then china? I hope not.... So remember fight this, They have yet to pass this as a law. But if theres enough public outrage over it, Hopefully it doesn't become a law.

  • ACTA is a piece of shit.

  • @Woestemi

Owner of MegaUpload: 50 Years in prison

Miquel Carano, raped, murdered and buried woman: 20 years

    Sound realistic? Well, it's true.

  • Dude 5 years jail for 25 songs? Think realistic bro, it wont happen.

  • I thought he had a HD PVR this is blurry

  • What do i have to buy in order to record my game play I've asked some people and they're as clueless as I am.

  • @NaSCoMPLeX In the U.S., it's considered an "executive agreement" and somehow isn't a treaty. By this logic, it doesn't need to be considered for legislative or judicial review. If the executive branch wasn't trying to seize power, 2/3 of the Senate would need to approve, and because Obama and the framers of ACTA don't think it will pass in the U.S., well, this is their way of getting around constitutional and due process. This isn't the first time we've used this excuse either.
