@Espenji ..Thank you for your support....I have never had an issue with my hair thinning or balding edges...I used headbands alot when I did my big chop to go natural....another great way to not end up with balding edges is to not to wear tight or badly done weaves and tight braids....

@sislisa4895 You can part your hair in the middle and style it in such a way that it covers the bald edges. I once had bald edges and know what you are talking about. It really is quite hard to get hair growing back in those spots but consistent application of castor oil is what eliminates them. Also keep the edges moisturized even if its with plain water. It takeslike 1 year to fully fill them in but if one is consistent (day and night) you can see results in 9 or 10 months.

Wow, Alison, you have a lot, lot, lot of hair ornaments. I definiately gotta get me some. Since going natural I've never really worn my natural hair . . . only because I've had traction alopecia, which is bald edges, or very very thin edges (I wear wigs). Too ashamed to wear my hair out. Just looks horrible to me, although my hair is about armpit length. Aslo my hair is thin, but that could be do to age, since I'm over 50.
