@MirZZi Yar.I watched some Navy (NZ ) do boarding practice one day using Steyrs ( NZ Military standard issue)...I had to chuckle as I was using .223 on 10mm steel plate targets only days before ...and it passed through with ease inside 100m.Yeah, Ive got a Rem 788 bolt action in .308...theres nothing in in NZ it couldnt bring down...except wild cattle...but I aint that game! 7.62x51 (.308 win in civvy street ) is a damn versatile caliber,from 110 grn to 220gr+....and the victims dont get up!
