  • All my respect to your job, but, I have to say that this is not flamenco. Not even closer, but I don´t want to be angry or stupid. It´s only my opinion.

  • @luzazulism This is a very basic lesson on a technique used in flamenco music. The idea of teaching flamenco guitar in 6 minutes is laughable.

  • i play with a pick but i'm starting to play with my fingers, so i have one question..do i have to grow wicked finger nails?

  • @dillungd no. although i think you'd get a better tone doing rasgueados with at least short nails

  • It's hard for me to do the rasgueados with my pinky first...I can do it in the opposite direction fine, starting with my index finger....is that okay?

  • @Araki0ikarA of course its a difficult technique. just keep practicing and you'll get it. it takes time to build up that strength in the pinky. it won't work the other way. the last finger to strum needs to be the strongest, so that's why you end with the index finger

  • @luzazulism I play flamenco guitar, I'm from Andalucia, I know what flamenco is and I´m only saying that this kind of rasgueado is not used, neither this pattern. But, I repeat, this is not a tyipical attack or something. Greetings!

  • @dillungd no but you wont have the dynamics and attack that us players with crazy fingernails have

  • rasgueado = rasgado with a strong, rolling "r". something like that :P

  • thx !

  • @guitar2adam

    hmmm okay, thanks :)
