@df041278 New Journey should of asked Steve to help out with the song writing on their last album..i did buy it,played it twice-just in case i missed hearing 1 half decent tune on it-found i hadn't,and stuffed it away,out of sight! So Steve Perry should'nt feel under pressure....us Perry fans are just glad he's back!

@perrymad8 I bet the new Journey are not to happy about it,But us loyal Steve Perry fans and new fans that love that voice are Elated.My granddaughter who is 18 loves Steve Perry.I told her if he does a concert ,I will take her to see it no matter where it is .

@nickajk1 I'm with you 100%! I can't think of any new singers that get even slightly close to Steve Perry's vocal ability.Frankly, i don't think it can be done!

@perrymad8 I think it is going to happen ,I have listened to 3 radio interviews he just did. He says he is working on music'If you need the station names let me know .Also he told it to Billboard himself.He has never before said he was going to record .Now he does..My problem is the wait..But I am going to wait ,it's been Loooog coming .So excited

@df041278 I know! I just saw it on fbook..i just hope he really does release some new stuff-i won't believe it till its playing on my cd player! I don't care even if he sounds like a foghorn ( i'm sure he won't!) as long as he's happy,doing what he loves-making music!
