@ganzhorton That's what I keep hearing from all the non-fanboys of Fiat.
I live in the States, so we have Chrysler, which is our Fiat. Good they got together, they are made for each-other: one has herpes, the other has genital warts.
I'd love a Ka, if it had a Ford drivetrain, not a bunch of metal Fiat parts that like to break on a regular basis past 60,000 miles.
@LoveShock2 He's not a geordie, get it right. Furthermore fiats are well known for falling to bits, if you get a good fiat and are lucky, its a nice cheap car, if your unlucky you'll have nothing but problems. When you buy a ford you dont roll the dice. The consistency is superior.
So what? What you're saying isn't a positive argument in regards to this - innovation, as the German [and Americans] have proved us before doesn't equate with reliability.
They still bottom reliability charts in Europe.
Not that it really matters much in this day and age.
@SpeedingStudent Fiat makes great cars.I hope the american car industry will learn a lesson from the great car manufacturers of Fiat.

67 mpg? Ford can really undercut the Prius by bringing the Ka to the US if they wanted to.
