  • This is an interesting topic. One thing that has always bummed me out is that the term LGBT is so often used but in reality people really mean the LG community. I fit in as "I guess as the B" but these stereotypes really don't work for me. My lesbian or gay friends want to either include me as a lesbian in denial, or exclude me as a "confused hetero" I'll leave out all of the other lame preconceptions on that one haha.

I may be androgynous but my energy tends to change from day to day.

  • @otherwheregirl I've seen this problem a lot, and I've been accused of promoting it because I believe bisexuality exists but is MUCH rarer than it is commonly seen. Therefore, I'm picky about who I associate myself with. But bisexuals have gotten a raw deal with all the trendy girls trying to be sexy and get male attention.

  • The belief that gays are balanced energetically came about because if you look at history a lot of ancient native cultures had gays as the Shamans, healers, medicine men/women, etc. They were seen as having "two spirits" or both male and female energies and thus better able to understand and work both energies more easily. I'm not gay, but I think there are valid points to this belief. Gays who are open and accepting of themselves are better at magick and healing from what I've seen.

  • You are one ver intelligent chic! Well presented video! :)

  • i think crowley was bisexual; i don't think he was homophobic. based on what i know of him, he had male lovers. if any thing, crowley was a mysogenist - he seems to have despised women, and i believe this may have had a lot to do with his relationship with his mother. he treated women terribly, as i under stand it. just thought i'd mention that.

  • @Bhav341 On YT I cannot tell what people are replying to, so if you are referring to a specific sentence, you might want to make that clear in your first message.

However, I didn't say that the majority of Christians are like that, I said that the US is dominated by those that are b/c they are so vocal. Nowhere did I specifically say that a majority of Christians are unlike Christ.

Frankly, I'm tired of everyone assuming Wiccans hate Christians and your apparent distaste for Wiccans.

  • @fleurdelacour5787 Did I mention homophobia? My statement was in response to yours in the above post : "the US is dominated by Christians who are very unlike Christ" When you use a word like "dominated" I take that to mean that you are saying a very large amount, as in a majority of christians.

Frankly, I'm growing tired of the whole wicca vs the church thing. I think too many wiccans over-estimate the amount of time that the rest of the world even bothers to think about them.

  • @Bhav341 Um...where did I say that all Christians are homophobic? If you'll read a few comments, you'll see that I just posted about how Christianity has a few zealots that are quite prominent in society who twist the Bible to suit their own needs (to promote homophobia) as they have in the past. I never made any blanket statements about Christianity at all in this video (or any of my videos) because I have no problem with *true* Christians that are Christ-like and actually follow the religion.

  • @fleurdelacour5787Most christians don't care what others do. The one's that pagans are at odds with are actually a very small group, but, being very vocal about their beliefs towards pagans, how they worship the devil blah blah - these are the christians that get noticed. I could say that I see most wiccans as fat, noisy, annoying, ugly lesbians because those are the wiccans that are the most visible, they are the ones that everyone sees & hears. Is it fair to think all wiccans are that way?
