  • @ChamorruWarrior ,Yes there is escape from this position! Left hand under the RIGHT KNEE of TONY and pass it over the head with a bridge over the left shoulder! But if TONY(the guy on mount) Controls the left hand of his opponent ,first, then he can pass his leg over the neck and continue his move!

  • Personally, I feel like that choke from the mount at the beginning of the video leaves alot of space for someone to get out of mount. I would say (with my LITTLE bit of BJJ experience)I would not try it, just cause if I'm in mount I'm gonna want to live by"position over submission"that seems like a very risky move, leaving a huge opening for the person to get out of your mount and get a better position. I personally would not risk that,I like my mount.Gonna insert some hooks and hang out a while

  • @matrix31003 Yo soi Dominicano i Boricua. I wish there was a catch wrestling school around my way. I love BJJ and been taking it since 1999, but I like the unorthodox subs and yeah leg locks is also one of my favorite.

  • @taekwon3000 BTW, I see that you speak spanish...Yo soy un dominicano.

  • @taekwon3000 I understand that. I teach and train jiu jitsu almost everyday and I understand whats going on in demonstrations. I know guys that use this choke off their backs in gi. It's not a terrible move, I just don't like it that much. That doesn't mean I don't like ANY of tony's techniques. I study tony's moves to learn some new unorthodox stuff, especially when it comes to leg locks.....It was just this particular technique I'm not a 100% fan of.

  • @matrix31003 You shown and proved. Esta bien primo. Good luck with your career. I train here in New York. Aiming to do MMA. You lucky Mass got MMA legalized. We still on the wating list from these faggot politicians. Btw about the video, gotta understand this is a demonstration, sometimes the person who is being demonstrated on tends to lend a helping hand to make a move look more solid, but I am yet to try it and see if it works, especially without being swept of full mount position.

  • @taekwon3000 My fighting name is The Sultan. You can find me on mma.tv and sherdog.com

  • @taekwon3000 My fighting name is The Sultan. You can find me on mma.tv as well as on sherdog.com

  • @matrix31003 Yeah sure papa. I am also a professional fighter and have a win over Fedor, but that win is not recorded because the Russian Mafia paid Sherdog to keep it of the records. LOL!!!! Mira primo no mientes. But yeah, what is your name since you say I should "verify information" so I can look you up on Sherdog.com?

  • @taekwon3000 First of all, you should verify information before you post a sweeping generalization. I'm a professional fighter and a purple belt in BJJ. I train almost everyday so I'm not "armchair quarterbacking". I train with a catch guy and I worked my own way out of this move several times. He's a big guy, about 225 lbs with 10 years of wrestling and catch....There was a way he was able to make it work better, but I was able to work an escape.
