Philippeclement, Please don't disrespect Mrs. Copeland by calling her "lady". You can to make your flesh OBEY. And...it will submit to your spirit when your spirit is stronger than your flesh! YOU are the spirit within the body! You aren't the body! It has to be tamed (buffeted into submission-PAUL) . What does Paul mean by that, if not that you can put your body into submission. You yourself quoted, "I crucify daily my flesh". "I"=spirit man=YOU

You cant convert the flesh !!!
There is no where in the Bible that teaches that flesh can be submitive to the Spirit !
Rather the Word of God declares the flesh to BE CRUCIFIED !
Paul says ans warns us NOT TO PUT OUR CONFIDENCE IIN THE FLESH !!!
This is why we MUST BE BORN AGAIN so the Spirit man does the WALKING.
Flesh still remains. This is why Paul says : I crucify daily my flesh !!!
