i just dont understand why they got rid of this guitarist... he was the best part of the band and they replaced him with this suck ass johnny marr character... and it all went downhill from there.

@unvme601 dude ah all I hear is Isaac guitar in this song yeah there's two guitar but its Isaac don't be so critically of Marr added a lot but he's not coming back just another phase of MM music and if you don't dig the new stuff listened to the old shit .

@downwiththevevo good point about styrofoam boots, issaac has always been a genius. but if you think about what happened in between wwdbtses and no ones first the difference is that they lost there guitarist.. he was working with johnny in wwdbtses and if you listen to like the whale song and fly trapped in a jar.. those have impressive guitar work but songs like a different city and life like weeds and stars are projectors are simpler but they just sound SO MUCH BETTER. i just dont get it

I happened to like wwdbtses a lot. and Johnny marr does have some skill like the whale song but it is just not comparable to their first three albums. and the other guitarist was still a member of the band when they came out with wwdbtses but they got rid of him before no ones first and perpetual motion machine... those albums bombed in my opinion. i lost interest after no ones first and lost faith after perpetual motion machine... but i still have great respect for them.
