I remember when growing up(as much as I liked Bill & his music)Bill was sort of overlooked because of his mellow voice. Carl Smith, Ernest Tubb, Faron Young...ect...over shadowed him at times and was getting more attention. Not that the others wasn't good, because they was. BUT who is Mr. Nashville NOW, You got it, Mr. Bill Anderson & He just celebrated his 50th year as a member of the Grand Ole Opry. I love this song. Thanks for sharing from MelllowNature.

There is not one of these so called country singers today could set down and sing this song without making a fool of them self. Real country is dead. Thanks to people like Gatorrock the old will live on for ever.

My nephew lost his wife at the age of 31,leaving him with a little girl that was 3 years old.I bought this song for him ,every time i hear it I think of him.That little girl is now 12 years old and she will be in the wedding as her dad gets married and she will have a new Mom in her life Sad but a great song.
