  • did you get to keep them?

  • @germino777

No, we gave them away to loving homes. It broke my heart to give them up, I don't think I'll ever be doing breeding again. I wanted to keep them all!

  • I love how u supported your dog while she was giving birth. was it the first time she was giving birth? My dog is giving birth in a couple of days so Im really nervous because I never done this before.

  • @anabizouxTH

Yes, this was her very first litter and I was SO nervous! I'd never seen an animal give birth before, much less knew anything about how to handle it. I was so thankful that my husband had done it before when his family bred dalmations when he was younger and knew what he was doing! I was able to help her with birthing her second and third litters. :)

  • I think I have the same blanket. xD Anyways, I love how you supported her while she was giving birth. :)

  • @Bubblegumzpopz

Thank you. :) She is my baby girl, I've been by her side through all 20 puppies she's birthed!

  • @Jennaye17 WRONG. By the time the mother gives up the 4th or 5th pup in the litter, she's pretty worn out, and there's nothing wrong with giving her a boost. As you can see, the owner did nothing more than position the pup so the mother could do a better job of getting breathing started with her tongue.

  • Using your hands is sometimes required. And its not disgusting.. its a beautiful thing to see such an awesome animal brought into this world - like a Shep pup.

Also, its an "old wives-tale" bout not touching the pups. I bred Pugs for 5 yrs.. touched each one moments after whelping. I kept them in sight of Momma, and.. never any problems. She bonded with them right away. Our Pugs are same as family. Most dogs tend to associate their scent with ours. Especially when there is a strong friendship.

  • Why you use your hands? u r so disgusting

  • youre not supposed to touch the puppies. the process of cleaning the puppy and chewing off the umbilical cord is how the mother bonds with her pups and recognizes them as her own.

  • @MissLithiumLilly oh thanks haha just that for me as don't live in an english speaker country it sounds weird to say bitch to a dog because in here we just here bitch as insult in movie but anyways this is my today learning thanx a lot :)

  • @latrusa30 Sable is the colouring of the fur. The bitch in the video is a black and tan GSD, sable is the sandy/lighter fur colour :)

  • @Z28Racer sorry for my ignorance but what is sable puppy?? :)

  • Had a GSD named Nisha(RIP 2009) and she had four litters of pups totaling 26 pups. First was 9 Second 7 Third 5 Fourth 5. All healthy and she was a great mother. I waited til she was four years to have her bred. In one particular litter she threw 3 Sable pups (SOO pretty) 2 male and one female.

  • my dog zena is going to have babies and we r going to keep them and when there r older like 3 years old then when they r 4 we r going to give them to this place where people could bye them
