Chrona is gender neutral, that is how the Japanese creators intended. In english they made him male because english speakers like things to be separated him/her

Chrona has no gender, the end. That coming from the writers mouth, so people, stop assuming based on silly little "hints" given once in awhile. It was intended to make people wonder, but not argue to the death.
