I'm Mitchell and I grew up in Albany Western Australia - the town where Channel 9's new series of Tim Winton's Lockie Leonard was filmed.
I have met one of the cast members (an uncredited extra) who attends a local school in Albany.
Some of the scenes were filmed literally just over the road from where I lived.
I attended Albany Senior High School - the same school used in the series.
The series sure brings back memories!

This is the second video I have uploaded for Lockie Leonard. I'll be putting together a few more for all you fans out there!

OFFICIAL LOCKIE LEONARD UPDATE
SEASON 2:

Essential Viewing, the company responsible for producing the Lockie Leonard TV series, has confirmed a second series will be filmed. This series is to be shot in Albany, WA, during the later half of 2009, and will screen is Australia in either the third quarter of 2009, or early in 2010. The series will also screen in the UK, Canada and America. The cast list is expected to remain unchanged, with new and original stories formulated by the show's writers.

@PremiereDirector are you an Asssie? If so, just curious, in Australia is that more "acceptable" for two 12 year olds to "score"? because Kimmyob pointed out in an earlier comment that kid actors in the US, don't even really "kiss each other", when in scenes like that, i happen to know thats true because i know a few child actors. Just wondering, because this seems to be a "kids show" and I dont think this would be an acceptable scene in the US...just wondering out or curiosity

@longtrader782 Yes I am Australian... and I guess it all depends on the 12 year olds in question - Tim Winton, the author of the original Lockie Leonard books went on to marry his girlfriend whom he was with from the age of 9... To each his own I say :) .... As for child actors kissing, I believe its down to the discretion of the producers and directors and what they feel is appropriate in front of the camera lens.
