The Ol Gal deserves to be restored and ppeserved as part of Sydney's herritage, It may have been taken out of service 3 years before my time but we've got to save some of sydney's iconic herritage, Would Sydney be Sydney without the Bridge or the Opera house and would Circular quay be circular quay without the Ferries?

So great to see!

there is actually a restoration crew workimg on the barragoola, so technically she is not abandoned

was fun in rough weather lol

@tproduction1 so do you. Wood's a bit hard to melt of course. ( so the ferry and your head would survive )
-
deserves to be melted down

What a shame they don't make them like that any more.

What are they going to do with this ferry?

Nice lines!

What the hell is the National Maratine Museam doing not saving this ferry
Why I ask Why
Awesome. Great to see it again, what great memories! How long will it last like this? What condition is it like on the inside?

The superstructure is in good condition. The seats appear to have been removed. The hull needs quite a lot of TLC because the ship has not been out of the water for so many years.
