Nature Design

http://www.vernissage.tv | "Nature Design -- From Inspiration to Innovation" at the Museum für Gestaltung in Zürich / Switzerland presents more than 500 objects and projects that are inspired by nature. The visitor will find works by over 150 artists and designers, among them: Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, Fernando & Humberto Campana, Richard Hutten, Ross Lovegrove, Karim Rashid, Marc Newson, Zaha Hadid, and Herzog & de Meuron. The video includes an interview with Angeli Sachs, the curator of the exhibition. Opening reception of the exhibition "Nature Design" (August 10 - December 2, 2007), Museum of Design Zurich, August 9, 2007.

I agree that a lot of this is not really of natural form, but i would definitely say that these pieces do have an organic nature to them.

And yes it is true that they may not contribute or help ALL of the worlds problems, but is that all anyone or anything is aloud to create or do.

People you are right, there are millions starving to death on our own planet, but this is hyper non-caring selfish endeavor to the max. Besides it looks like its from the '60s and '70s drug era and we havta get past that. Most of it to me is not hardly that natural looking anyways.
