The oldest known argentine tango, composed by Rosendo Mendizaabal in 1896. The sheet music is available on request. Guitar: Jesus Bellido, Flamenco guitar, Granada 2006
Very nicely played! I enjoyed this rendition a lot.
Ah, by the way: Tango, is not "argentine tango". In point of fact, it is as much Argentine as Uruguayan. It was created, both as music and dance, simultaneously in Buenos Aires (A) and Montevideo (U), around the 1890s. Just for example: "La Cumparsita" was composed by Gerardo Matos Rodríguez, an Uruguayan student in 1917 in Montevideo, Uruguay. Yes, the bigger, magnificent BA has always been the main tango hub in the region and the world.
