Churches differ greatly in size and interiors so it would be wise (even if you are familiar with the church layout) to spend some time reviewing the areas that you and your guests will be using during the ceremony. The front of the church will be everyones focus as you exchange vows so the largest and most impressive arrangements should be placed around the altar You might wish to consider re-using some of the church arrangements at your reception.

Some Christian churches will agree to provide some floral decorations for a small fee, this is usually offered as an option at the initial wedding booking. Choosing a florist to design and create your church arrangements will unify your flowers and theme.but check first with the vicar what is permitted within your church as at certain periods in the Christian calendar (Advent and Lent) flowers are not to be used.
