@SpdEris Thx for posting your results. I think you have confirmed my suspicions. I am sure apple won't replace my phone for me now. I guess i will have to wait for the iPhone 4G to come out!!

currently i have my alarm on 24/7 and my usage since last charge is 1hr 50min with an 8 hr and 43 min standby and i have 80% left

it honestly seems like hit or miss the these phones and batt life. i average about 350 text messages a day along with 25 emails (4 different accounts) they automatically show instantly when i get an email i have auto bright on at about 40-50%, but wifi and bluetooth off, they suck the life out of the batt. i usually get about 10 hours on a 100% charge

but i mostly just text, and ipod, a lil bit of fb and browsing but nothing else oh yea and all my settings r also off and i have autolock to 1 min

The best i have got on my 3Gs is (Usage: 4hrs 30min Standby: 23hrs) then the battery dies. Thats with all settings off, like wifi bluetooth, 3G, push, location services, about 20% brightness. I don't use my phone that heavily, a bit of browsing, checking emails, texting, some 3rd party apps. Please reply, I would like to know how much other users get out of their battery cause i think mine might be faulty :(
