  • Thats the hole reason I did this video was to show people it works

  • hey bro whats you pump rate ? gph if you can tell me thanks

  • @NEY310LA one million gph haha jk like 240gph

  • I used 1 1/4 inch pipe, i took the tank to a glass store and got a hole drilled for 5 dollars and all the pvc coast about 8 bucks so it a cheap and effective over flow system witch you will never have to worry about the syphon failing because its blow the water line at all times. be happy to make another video for you and i am going to have a part 2 to also

  • How big are your PVC OVERFLOWS????? can u help me how to build one please thanks and how much it cost too? does bio balls helps corals to grow too and cleans the water as well? happy new year please reply

  • bio balls help oxidize the water and let good bacteria grow but before the bio balls you need a filter materiel for the water to go threw to get almost all of the impurities out.

  • cheap and a fucking noise that you cant hear you tv any more , i made it and tried it and did a lot of them and all sucked waste of money and time

  • I have a question does anyone know where I can get glass or acrylic or plexiglass anywhere in ny can you get it in a fish store or like a hardware store or something please answer my question because I need a answer quick plus check out my tank right now and correct me I am new to sw

  • I plan to have a standing pipe coming up from the bottom of my tank. I'm gonna revamp my ten gallon tank to make a sump with some K1 Kaldness. I think it'll be pretty sweet.

  • on the overflow, you should have another 90 degree elbow, and a drip plate so it dispurses water evenly over the bioballs

  • I have k1 filter media in another device I'm trying to use.

If I use this overflow sump thing... Is it the only filter type I would need?

Assuming I used bioballs or k1, and an actual filtering material?

  • wow thats an amazing idea for us budget reef keepers lol, imma make that for my 125 im getting take a loook at some of my vids if u get the time

  • @keegano2007 can a pvc overflow work with a 950gallon per hour pump in a 100 gallon tank?

  • Now if I didnt drill the tank but had the tube in the water, would the pressure of the water just push the water up the intake valve and into the sump? thanks.
