Group A: LOVE - FEAR - REGRET

I can't believe I actually got straight through to the seniors round after the auditions. this is such a huge honor for me, that I won't mind that much if I won't make it through this one.
I suck at storytelling and showing emotions and since those are the tasks of this round, I suppose my changes aren't too great.

JUDGES NOTE.

once I read the task of this round and thought about the given emotions, I immediatelly thought of the movie 'awake'.
there are so many different aspects of these emotions present.

at large - clay's POV

love;
clay is so madly in love with sam that he looses sight of everything else that is going on around him.
the love between mother and son is also a great aspect of the movie:
clay's mother is so full of love for her son that she even sacrifices her own life to save his.

fear;
there is the omnipresent fear of dying.
and not to forget the fear of clay's mom to loose her son.

regret;
looking back and realizing he was fooled, clay regrets falling in love with sam, which ultimately let to the death of his mother.
+ his mother regrets not having noticed sam's charade earlier


EDITING PROCESS.

let's say that editing this movie really isn't easy. there are so many hidden meanings and finding voiceovers is nearly imposible, since most of the conversations are only hinting at things and never stateing something straight up + each scene contains so much meaning and it's really difficult to cut the movie up and edit with it, without destroying the storyline. of corse some aspects of the movie get lost during that process, but it wasn't the task to show every tiny detail, but to tell a story and show the three given emotions... so I'm satisfied with the outcome.
