That IS the legendary Peter Cook - not as successful in Hollywood as his old mate Dud, but his comical legacy goes much further IMO.

Sure looks like Peter Cook to me. And he did do the "Yellowbeard" picture with Madeline Kahn, though I didn't see the movie and thus can't tell if there's any reference here.

I don't think that's Peter Cook. I think that's an actor by the name of Robert Stephens, who played in the movie, "The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes"--he was also married to Maggie Smith.

This was fun to watch. But how sad to realize once more that Madeline Kahn & Peter Cook are now longer alive. They were talented to the max, daddy-o! Strictly from yuk-yuksville! THANKS for sharing this delightful gem with us. And may all your wishes and dreams come true in the New Year! :)

I miss Madeline :( I wish she haunted my house and tried to steal my diet coke :) I would love every second of it :) Madeline, you were the best! The only girl that really makes me laugh!
