its a fallacy to assume that life would not exist here if things were even slightly different it would just be DIFFERENT LIFE, we would have evolved differently and life would be different if the earth was slightly closer or further from the sun or tilted slightly differently so its a fallacy to assume life is so unlikely, the only thing that is unlikely is life exactly like us but we would be saying the same thing if we were different life.

I thought it was the volume to surface area ratio that after one point stops being able to maintain the size of the insect, not the fact that the 'tubes' don't grow big enough with it... but maybe i am mistaken.
