  • They could have waited until DS had stopped playing before tearing down the stage....

  • True, but I guess it was "a part of the show". They did the same thing at On Location Tour.

  • They did it at the Alchemy show too.....

  • I meant Love over Gold Tour of course,, Yeah, as you said, Alchemy. =)

  • Dire Straits Sultins Of Swing

  • What a discovery! Great: I was there on that July 10 1985. Still have the ticket. Paid GBP 12.50; a days' net earnings in in my student days then. MK said that the BBC was filming but I never got to see anything of it - until 25 years later. Thanks, dogswede1! Hank Marvin came in as a real surprise. I've seen Dire Straits a few times before and after, but this show certainly was the best.

  • Both men = Gods. Simple.

There is no music that makes your hair stand up anymore, and it's a damn shame.

  • With or without the guitar, Mark really is an exceptionally beautiful human being. Inside and out. This clip in particular shows how humble, generous and affectionate he is. Thank you DogSwede1.
