@wagglermaster301 Hi i use two rods both 7 weights, a greys G-Tec,and a Beula, the Beula has the edge,but i think its down to the flylines that i am using.Rio wind cutters mark1 and the mark 2.The mark 1 is better suited with the Beula flyrod

im curious i just watched a few videos of carp fishing and in all the videos it was all people from the uk i was wondering is carpen really big over in the uk people in usa are into it but at the same time some people dont appreciate the carp at all

@miltmilt123 Ive caught carp at a dam near my house (in the usa) and i know of two lakes with good carp fishing one of them is so infested that you cant goe fishing from boat for 10 minutes with out seeing one jump and it has no weeds left on the bottom

I should have been more specific. To my knowledge there are not many if any public lakes for carp fishing. If carp are present in a body of water they have been introduced. I live in the northern most region of carp waters, and it is medeocre at best. We can not "chum" the waters for any kind of fish to my best knowledge either so it is hard finding feeding carp. The best carp fly fishing is done in the spring sight fishing them. Most of our bottom fishing techniques are behind yours.
