Would you have preferred if I had said mentally challenged eye brows? In my opinion I would find that offensive towards your child. I'm referring to my eye brows and how they do their own thing and don't grow in a typical manner. Not to a person or a child and a certain handicap they may or may not have. I never singled out a certain disability or disease. I just said the word retarded. There was no offense in it in any way, shape, or form. Get off your high horse & stop being overly sensitive.

The only person who can make you feel offended or any other sort of emotion from a simple word is YOU. Words are just that...words. Be a better mother to your child by showing them that it takes more than just words from someone you don't even know to get you down. The only type of people that I've noticed who get offended by words, are the ones who are ashamed of their own insecurities. Get over whatever you're ashamed of and become a stronger woman.
