My sister brought this album home from england when I was 14 yrs old! I loved it and funny I still do!! Imagine this I can sing it like I was 14!

Damn, is this an awesome song! Not only a great/fun melody but so much depth and texture. It's a crime it/he never found a bigger audience.

I remember hearing this song a few times when I was in college in the late 70's and I haven't been able to get it out of my head or remember who did it for the past 30 plus years. I thought I remembered the name "Prothro" but was never able to find it until today. What a treat to hear it again. Great sound quality too. Thanks so much for posting.

DITTO!!! THANK YOU FOR THE POST!!! I've been listening to this song and the Pick Up LP since it's release... and I was about 8+/- years old! Protheroe is one of the most overlooked and underrated musicians EVER!!! I ordered the CD a few years ago and never ever get sick of it... even when i listen to it OVER & OVER & OVER!!!

Thanks for this I remember this from "Pick Up". I put it in my rotation when I was in radio in back in '73, for the life of me couldn't understand how he didn't make it big. The joys of music industry.
